Job Description
We've got an exciting new role available for an experienced Software Engineer to join our growing team in the commercial drone world. You'll be part of our small software development team working from home on our live streaming and mapping applications that makes use of drone and GIS data.
Our software Developers are at the very core of our operations. They build applications and tools that enhance and process data that our Drone Pilots and Sensor Operators go out to acquire. The applications are at the very heart of what we do and the service we provide.
Our work is rewarding, and you'll get a great sense of achievment when you see the tools you've built used for tasks on a national scale, in times of national crisis.
You will need to have excellent HTML5/CSS/Javascript skills, and be proficient in or at least have a good working knowledge of JQuery as well as having excellent PHP skills, and be familiar with MVC frameworks (CodeIgniter or Symfony).
You should have a minimum of 2 years (or relevant experience) in commercial Javascript, PHP or web development experience as well as an understanding of video streaming and a good understanding of a selection of the most recent technologies for both development, testing, and deployment of cloud web servers (e.g. AWS or Google Cloud).
In addition to technical skills, you must be proactive in learning new technologies or techniques, love coding and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Job Description
We've got an exciting new role available for an experienced Drone Pilot to join our growing team in the commercial drone world. You'll be part of our national deployment team providing drone inspection, survey and response services on a range of tasks such as critical national infrastructure surveys, building inspections or working with first responders.
Drone Pilots are at the very core of our operations. They are the essence of professionalism, they are safety conscious, they are operationally experienced with a steady hand and focussed mind.
At Team UAV, the Drone Pilot is the Commander of a small two-man team consisting of themselves and a Sensor Operator. They work together as a tight team and are sometimes away in hotels for 2-3 days per week, this can be in the UK and occasionally overseas. There's also sometimes the need for the Drone Pilot to work on their own. It's a fast-paced and exciting role, the hours can sometimes be long - but our work is rewarding, and you'll get a great sense of achievement from the tasks you carry out.
When you're not flying, you'll be working from home planning tasks, organising and processing data, building on new procedures and finding innovative new ways and new technology to carry out bespoke tasks. You'll also have the chance to research, develop and test new equipment - if you've got a mind for RC gear and communications.
There's great career progression too, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and take part in further training. Your job as a Drone Pilot will give you the basic skills and mindset for progression within the company.
One of the main qualities we are looking for in a Drone Pilot for this position is exceptional drone control. The Drone Pilot must be able to follow a set specification and fly smooth.

Minimum Requirments

Passed and completed UK drone pilots ground school and practical flight (certificated in RPQs (PfCO or GVC)

Exceptional drone control when capturing video data (there will be a pass/fail flight assessment on a set task prior to employment)

Over 100 hours of commercial logged flights (50 within the last 12 months)

Ability to plan flights, identify risk and produce RAMS

Experience using DJI products

We've got an exciting new role available for a Sensor Operator to join our growing team in the commercial drone world. You'll be part of our national deployment team providing drone inspection, survey and response services on a range of tasks such as critical national infrastructure surveys, building inspections or working with first responders.
Sensor Operators are critical to our operations. They are the people who work with the Drone Pilot to plan tasks, prepare equipment for flight, ensure updates have been made and maintains teams equipment - so it is always ready to be used, often at a moments notice if we're responding to incidents with first responders.
The Sensor Operator and Drone Pilot work together as a tight two person team, and are sometimes away in hotels for 2-3 days per week, this can be in the United Kingdom and occasionally overseas. It's a fast-paced and exciting role, the hours can sometimes be long - but our work is rewarding, and you'll get a great sense of achievment from the tasks you carry out.
It's not all travel, there's times when you'll be required to work from home, and there's times when you'll be on other tasks such as moving equipment between teams based in the UK.

Job Description
We've got an exciting new role available for a Digital Content Producer to join our growing team in the commercial drone world. You'll be part of our small sales and marketing team providing media products for social media, and for our Clients. You'll be working with data from drones where our Pilots have carried out inspection, survey and response services on a range of tasks such as critical national infrastructure surveys, building inspections or working with first responders. Your main role will be collect media by going out onto the ground with the teams and then edited it to use on projects or on the companies social media accounts.
Digital Content Producers are critical to our operations. They are the people who work with the sales and marketing team to plan campaigns, to help bring to fruition the company's sales goals. The Digital Content Producer deploys out on tasks to capture high end photography of our teams in action to post on social media, as well as edits videos in Final Cut Pro.
The Digital Content Producer is a fast-paced and exciting role, with a good varied amount of working from home and being out in the field. The hours can sometimes be longer than normal when there is a large project on - but our work is rewarding, and you'll get a great sense of achievment from the tasks you carry out.
There will be times when you're required to join the Drone Pilot on a task, to help him capture video and images, and you'll be trained to operate the drones cameras to collect aerial data.
That means there's great career progression too, you'll have the opportunity to develop your camera and flying skills and take part in Pilot training. Your job as a Digital Content Producer will give you the basic skills and mindset required to be a safe operator to progress to be a Commercial Drone Pilot or a skilled Camera Operator.
